Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful March Break.
We are back at the Bob McQuarrie Centre for 12:30 pm. As spring has officially arrived , we are having a Hawaiian Luau in celebration.
Our afternoon will include : making Hawaiian Leis, playing Hula Hoop Target Practise , Limbo and swimming
Please ensure to pack a peanut free snack, and swimming essentials.
*We encourage you to dress in your favourite Hawaiian shirts and/or beach attire. *
We have a special surprise this upcoming Saturday. Beyond our regular schedule of swimming and activities (creating Paper Bag Monsters), the GACSN board and a few participants, are presenting a short play, "Birth of the Moon".
As mentioned, we are visiting the pool so please ensure to pack all swimming essentials, as well as a peanut free snack.

This week at GACSN, we are getting ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
Our afternoon will include: Heart Race, Valentine Matching Game, Will you BEE my Valentine? (craft),and a Valentine Sensory Bin.
We intend to visit the pool, so please ensure to pack all swimming essentials, as well a peanut free snack.

This week, we have our outing to Orleans Bowling, located at 885 Taylor Creek Dr.
Drop off should be for 12:45 pm and pick up for 3:15 pm,at the front entrance of the alley.
Please ensure to pack a snack, or if you’d like, you can bring in money to purchase a snack from the canteen. Staff and volunteers will help support participants make their purchase.

This Saturday, January 26th, is our annual Talent Show.
Initially, we will be visiting the pool so please ensure to pack all swimming essentials.
After snack, any participants that would like to present something to the group, can. We encourage everyone to participate but for those who don’t, can cheer on other participants.
Other items to bring: a peanut free snack and anything you may need for your presentation.

This Saturday, our theme is Harry Potter! Please feel free to dress up in your favourite Wizard and Witch attire.
Our afternoon will include : swimming, making Magic Wands and last but not least, Salty Popcorn Magic.
Please ensure to pack all swimming attire and a snack!

We are back at the Bob MacQuarrie Centre this January 5, for our first session in the New Year. The Centre has officially reopened the pool, so we are reverting to our typical Saturday schedule/routine.
Our theme this week is “Snow Storm”. Our afternoon schedule will include: playing Snowman Slam, swimming, making a Snowy Snowman and a Snowman in a Bag (sensory activity).
*Please remember to pack a peanut free snack, as well as all swimming attire .*

This Saturday, December 15th, will be our final session before breaking for the Holidays. As always, to celebrate a successful session, we are going to be hosting our annual Holiday Potluck.
Before the Potluck, we are going to be making Holiday cards, and a "The Grinch" craft. The cards made by our participants will be handed out during our gathering.
The Potluck will begin at 2:30 pm, at that time, we invite all caregivers to join us in Hall D. The remainder of our afternoon will be spent enjoying the food , treats and company.
