We are Back!

Hi All!

We wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that we are back! We have slowly been getting back to normal programming (as normal as normal can be with COVID!). Our program hasn’t changed too much, but we have implemented a few things to keep everyone safe.

We are now filling vacant spots for anyone that is interested.

For those who may be interested, please feel free to send us a message under Contact.

Stay safe,

Jessica Chikwanha

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Dear GACSN participants, parents, caregivers and volunteers,

First, I hope you are all well as we continue to deal with Covid-19. I wanted to let you know that we are working on how we can offer a safe program for everyone. At this time, while the City of Ottawa is starting to open its recreational facilities they are not renting rooms at this time. For that reason our program will not be starting in September.

I am sure this will be disappointing, however keeping everyone safe and healthy is our priority. Until we can be together again, we are thinking of other ways we offer something. If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know. As things change and we get information from the city I will send out updates.

Until then, I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

Regards,

Robert Pangborn

GACSN- COVID-19 update

Dear parents, caregivers and volunteers ,

First, I hope you are all well and safe. We continue to stay home with Bob Macquarrie being closed. Right now, expect this will continue until May 30th which would be our last session. I know this must be disappointing for many, I know Dylan asks every week about Bob Macquarrie. I have the greatest hope that we will all be able to meet each other again in September. I hope everyone – you the participant our dedicated volunteers and of course parents and caregivers will come back in September. Normally at the end of year pot luck I would thank everyone for being part of our year and this year I have to do this through this letter. I would also wish everyone a safe and fun summer and I’ll do that too, it may just look different to what we normally have. But most of all, I do look forward to September when we can all return to GACSN on Saturdays and have some fun.

Regards

Robert Pangborn
President

*Attached is a letter for participants from the GACSN Coordinators and staff. We hope this helps!*

Take care,

Bob MacQuarrie Closure

Dear participants, parents, caregivers, volunteers and staff.

You may have heard by now that the City of Ottawa is closing all its recreational facilities until April 5th. This will impact our GACSN program. There is no program already planned 3/14 and 3/21 because of March break. Because Bob MacQuarrie will be closed there will be no program 3/28 and 4/4. The following week 4/11 there is no planned program due to Easter. Depending on the city, we expect we will start program again on 4/18.

I know this will be a disruption for our participants however, the closure is needed for public health. I hope everyone remains healthy and safe until we can all meet again for GASCN. If anyone has any concerns or questions, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Robert Pangborn
