Last Program/Potluck

Hello Everyone!

This Saturday, June 24th is the last program before Summer Break!

We will be preparing thank you cards for volunteers and staff.

We will be going swimming, so please have your swim stuff ready!

Starting at 3 p.m. we will be having the Potluck. All families and caregivers are welcome to join in on the fun. Feel free to bring a food item of your choice. If you wish to see what people have already decided to bring, take a look at the potluck section on the "Punchbowl" invitation I sent last week.

If you can not make it out on Saturday, I wish you all a wonderful, safe and fun Summer vacation and hope to see you all back in the fall!!

Saturday June 17th

I hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy the nice weather this week!

On Saturday we will be preparing a Father’s Day surprise for all the dads and caregivers, therefor the craft will remain a secret for the week.

We are working hard to assure we can make it to the pool this week since we missed out this past Saturday. Please make sure you have your swim stuff packed as well as outdoor gear (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) incase we are unable to safely get to the pool.

THANK YOU to Kevin and his family for such a yummy snack!

*You should all have received an email this morning from "Punchbowl". That is an invitation to our year-end Potluck which will be NEXT SATURDAY on June 24th. We hope to see you all there!

Have a wonderful week!

Saturday June 10th

We hope to get to the pool, so please remember to pack your swimming stuff.

If you have not yet completed the year-end survey, please take a moment to do so this week. It is greatly appreciated. The link has been sent via email.

Saturday June 4th + Family Year-End Survey

Hello Everyone,

As some of you might know, Jessica (Program Coordinator) is going to be absent for the month of June. I (Danielle-Assistant Program coordinator) will be taking over the role for the month with the help of Samiha as Assistant Program Coordinator.

This week, we will be having fun “Under the Sea”. We will be making a Jelly Fish as the craft and will have fun with an ocean themed sensory activity. If the weather is nice, we might spend some time outside, so please bring a hat, sunscreen, jacket, etc.

Please pack your swimming attire as we are plan on going to the pool.

Also, if all families can take a few minutes to complete this year-end survey, it would be greatly appreciated. You’ll find the link to the survey in the email communiqué you should have received on May 31. Let me know if you lost the link and I’ll resend it!

Have a wonderful week and see you on Saturday!

Danielle

GACSN – April 29

This Saturday we will not be going on an outing as outlined in the events calendar. We have mostly cover staff filling in this Saturday for our regular staff. Due to this we will reschedule our outing to a later date.

With that being said we will be going on a "mini outing” to Nun’s Park, located about a 5 minute walk from the centre (weather permitting). If not, we will do our alternative indoor games.

This weeks craft will be a group project were our individual pieces come together to make a "friendship tree". This activity is to outline and demonstrate "together we help each other grow and together everyone achieves more" .

Lastly , please assure to pack all swimming essentials as we intend on visiting the pool.

Hope to see you then !

Take care ,
